    Has anyone managed to use a Palm to relay channels to the IR sensor? Eg.

    MythTV ------(bluetooth)------> Palm -----(IR)------> STB
    (backend)

    I'm thinking OmniRemote might be the way to go, because there's a development kit for it.

    It would give the capability of an IRTrans WiFi (IR Trans - Products and Orders - Ethernet Devices), but for considerably less than the 179 EUR price tag.

    that seems overly complex and I'm not aware of anyone that has done it. I personally just use firewire or serial connectors to the box when available
