Thread: Some channels crook after upgrade

Hi. Upgraded to 11.10 a while ago and a few channels didn't work properly - as if they weren't tuned properly perhaps. Didn't worry me because I don't watch them, but I've discovered something I want to record.

It's Australia Channels One and SBS HD. they both come in on multiplexes with channels that work properly (I think I understand that correctly).

I don't know what info to give to arrive at an answer, so if you have any ideas, or can tell me what I should tell you, please let me know.'

do a databasebackup and rescan those multiplexes. See if it works. Could also be that your dish moved and you are not getting good reception?

good idea thanks managementboy. Unfortunately it didn't work. I think the signal is good as the normal set top box is fine, and signal strength looks high. Next time I'm on the roof I'll check out the antenna though . It's probably covered in gum leaves and possum poo.

I noticed the bum stations are all HD - but not all the HD channels. Wonder if the usb tuner is fritzing?
