Okay, I got the hang of installing a single tuner. Now, I'm needing to install a 2nd. Both are Hauppauge HVR-1600 tuners.
/dev/Video0 seems to no longer be valid.

Anyone?
I'm surprising not finding much information in my searches. There are no longer ANY Video folders in my /dev directory. Why would installing a second card do this?
Are you running 32-bit Linux?
Currently, yes...
My plan is to possibly switch to 64-bit once I understand how this all works. Is that a bad idea?

Simple explanation, the HVR-1600 wants a bunch of virtual address space for IO, and between your graphics card and two tuners, you don't have enough to go around. On 64-bit systems, the address space is handled differently, and this problem does not exist.
wagnerrp, I've installed Ubuntu 11.04 64-bit now and still seem to have the same problem. If I boot up with both cards installed, none of them are recognized as /dev/video0 in the Backend setup. If I shutdown, and pull one of the cards out, I can configure the backend as normalwith /dev/video0.
Thoughts...?
I'm really struggling with this one. Surprisingly can't find anything on Google or searching this forum. I know I can't be the first person to try this.
The only issue I've ever heard with people running multiples of those cards is the vmalloc one, which should only affect 32-bit users. Check `dmesg` to see if there are any errors reported during initialization of the drivers. Check `lspci` to see if the system even detects both devices are installed. Try installing them to different PCI slots (if you have more than two), to see if you are running into some weird IRQ contention.
