I'm having some problems with an HDPVR. I'm running the latest firmware (0x12). The 622 is in 720p (to simplify things). I'm running vdpau on a 9500GT, and I have a serial IR Blaster changing channels.

The problem is: the HDPVR is really unrealiable. When I can get it to tune it captures fine but after a channel change or two it exits out with an error message:

Code:

I also have problems getting it to tune. I get an error message about not being able to find an audio codec...

I've been told by friends to try Mythtv 0.21 and patch it to work with HDPVR and vdpau. They say its more stable.

Anyone else have experience with HDPVR and a 622?

Thanks,

Brian
