Hoping someone has some experience with this setup... I've been going by "in transition" docs and outdated forum hearsay and having no success...

I've been struggling to get OTA HD output from my tuner card for a while now, with no results. I can get the channel listings from the Zap2It service (and for my listing there I've selected only the local OTA HD channels). I live about 3 miles from the transmitter, but only get snow. If I do a channel scan, mythtv will find the SD channels and add them, and I can watch live sdtv. I've been trying to avoid mixing SD and HD, since there were notes on other boards that you couldn't readily use both digital and analog at the same time with the Fusion card. That, and the only reason I bought the card was for HD

Not getting sound with SD or HD, but more worried about the HD tuner for now.

I'm wondering if there is a way to graphically see the strengh of HD signal, to see if I have a dud card or something. More likely (make that *very likely*) it's user error on my part, but stranger things have happened.

System specs as follows: Pentium D 2.8, Nvidia 6600GT (latest nvidia drivers installed and v4l added in xorg.cnf), 2GB Ram. Fedora Core 5 (x86_64 2080 kernel version) with the latest updates. Latest mythtv-suite from yum.

How are you setting up the card in mythtv-setup? I had to setup my HD-3000 as a dvb device in there using 8vsb, if I remember correctly. Then I did a channel scan in mythtv and it got the channels.

Drivers: For my HD-3000 with the FC4 2.6.16-1.2069 kernel all I needed to do was get the firmware in the /lib/firmware directory and the drivers were in the kernel.

Did you get the card working outside of mythtv using the dvb-apps from linuxtv.org? They have a channel scan app and a signal app.
