No I'm using sd. My cable company provides wrong data to tribune therefore I have to rebuild it.

Mythweb reports .23

I'm on a phone or this response would be longer. Thank you for the info

Customer support is one of the advantages of actually paying for lineup data. File a report on the SD website, and they will forward it on to TMS.

The only reference to the version I can find in MythWeb is here, which still lists 0.22.

I built mine a while ago. Mythweb was complaining about versions before it was upgraded and it said .23 on mythweb.

I've files reports. They can do nothing because the local cable company uses boxes which translate the station. Basically I've got about 50 channels which get reassigned to different numbers by the cable company's box. The cable company only supports their boxes, not the televisions.

OK, so the guide data isn't wrong, the cableco just keeps shuffling channels around.

No. The cable company is doing no shuffling. The problem is that they only support their own boxes and the boxes are programmer to change the QAM ID from 900 to 750. Why? Dunno. I assume they just want it that way or have some sort of technical limitation which they are working around. B

the channels are quite stationary and my cable company does not support devices other then their own boxes. This includes TVs and computers.

We need a way to save settings or host custom lineups.

The best soloution would be for ScheduledDirect to host user lineups or for mythtv to do what it says it does and transmit lineups back to help other users.

Either way, I check this thread everytime I redo my guide data currently and it's a frackin PITA. Something needs to happen. Most users would have said fuck it a long time ago. I'm anything but most users.

Digital channels exist as a multiplex (frequency) and program id. Your cableco can do anything they want with their own internal numbering scheme, but as long as the physical location of the channels does not change, MythTV doesn't care. The only way something would break is if your cableco shuffled a channel onto a new multiplex, or to a different program within the same multiplex.

I have to reload my os quite frequently.

I have over 50 channels which are remapped on cable boxes. Seems to me schedules direct should save custom lineups or MythTV would do as it says it is supposed to do.

Where is the icon server and how can I update it?

Wow...

My cable company just changed their lineup. Now about 1/2 of my channels have to be input manually.

I wish mythtv would do what it was told and transmit my choices!
