Could you please post your hardware... Just for curiosities sake. I'm having a devil of a time getting mine to work w/ Time Warner.
When using my 2250 for OTA I have to enter the backend settup and exit after every reboot in order for my frontend to see the 2 tuners.

Here is my settup

TV TUNER HAUPPAUGE|1183 RT HVR-1600 Top PCI slot

PSU FSP|FSP350-60GLN(80) 350W (Had to extend the 4 pin cpu power cable)

CPU INTEL|C2D E7400 2.8G

MEM 1Gx2|PNY MD2048KD2-800-X4 R

HD 1.5T Seagate ST31500341AS 32M

KB ADESSO|WKB-3000UB RT

DVD ROM LITE-ON|iHDP118-08 18X RTL

DVD BURN LG|GH22NS30 22X SATA
Antenna RCA ANT3020X NA CAW 03
Mounted in the attic connected to my tuners via 30 foot double shielded RG-59 coax to cheep splitter an 6 foot unshielded RG-6 coax. No preamp or distribution amplifier.
All towers are within 4 degrees of each other and no more than 27 miles away.

Actually, it looks like I spoke too soon. After rebooting, I can't watch tv until i run mythtv-setup again, very strange. Here's my setup though, very similar to yours:

Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3LR
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 (2.8 GHz)
4GB RAM
80GB WD SATA2 HD for system disk
80GB WD SATA1 HD for data (probably gonna need a new HD soon to hold all of this video)
430W PSU
NVidia GeForce 8200 GS (256MB RAM, Using S-Video output)
HVR-2250 MCE in PCIEx1 slot connected to Comcast via 3-way splitter
OS: Ubuntu 9.04
MythTV 0.21-fixes (from the Ubuntu package)

Does anyone know if the HVR 2250 driver will be in the 2.6.30 kernal?
