| im trying to get a kwolrd atsc-110 to work with mythtv. it works ok with tvtime, but no digital channels are detected. when I scan for channels with myth, it picks out the same channels that i get with tvtime, but when i go to watch live tv, all i get is static. i have searched for a while but cant find anything telling me how to configure myth correctly to work with this card. Im hoping that someone here can point me in the right direction. thanks, kalen |

Have you made any progress yet? I have the ATSC-110 and am using it successfully - but it does take some effort to wrestle it into submission with MythTV. Let me know if you need some assistance. |

The card seems to work ok with tvtime, so I think that I have the drivers configured correctly, which is what that wiki seems to address. I think that my problem is the configuration of the card when i run mythtv. If someone that is using this card could tell me how they configured mythtv, that would be great. thanks |

So, let's check that the digital half of the card is working before jumping into configuring MythTV. Take a look at this post: http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/lin...ry/007593.html |

Don't know where you are located - but if you're in the US, use this for over-the-air HDTV: us-NTSC-center-frequencies-8VSB or one of the QAM files for cable: us-Cable-Standard-center-frequencies-QAM256 us-Cable-HRC-center-frequencies-QAM256 us-Cable-IRC-center-frequencies-QAM256 FYI - I ran across this link, which will give you an idea of the kind output to expect (there's a lot of "Failed!" messages that just mean no signal was found...) http://www.penlug.org/twiki/pub/Main...tscscan_output Keep going - you'll get there! |

That's a good thing - means that the board is working, antenna is connected to the right jack, etc... When you're in myth-setup, what tuners do you see? If you have a new enough version, you should have a "dvb" tuner (which will tune the digital channels you found with astscan) and that dvb tuner should have an "analog options" sub-section that allows you to configure the analog part of the card (which tunes the stations you can see with tvtime.) I don't know what version of MythTV you have (or which V4L drivers), nor which version you need to see that functionality. I was using the bleeding edge code from SVN. I'm actually unable to look at mine until I rebuild it - had a filesystem problem that took my root partition down this weekend. Grrr. |
