I got my CompUSA aka "norwood S800" card to somewhat work. I kind of forgot exactly how since it was a mix of updating a bunch of stuff. But I am using the 2.6.18 kernel on slackware 11. I used Mercurial to update my v4l drivers, and then I added these lines to a file called isapnp in /etc/modprobe.d

alias char-major-81 videdev
alias char-major-81-0 cx88xx
alias char-major-81-64 cx88xx
options cx88xx card=54 tuner=69

I don't know exactly if any of this was how i was supposed to get it to work but I am able to watch TV now, i have a small issue on the very top of my screen showing some fuzz and also the video hiccups from time to time but it seems to work and record so far.

I also have yet to get the remote to fully work still working on that one.
