Default Problems changing channels in 0.20

Everything worked fine with 0.19. After upgrading to 0.20a I can't change the channels either with the arrow keys nor by typing in the channel number itself. The problem is that when I want to watch Live TV, Mythtv starts recording that show automatically, and therefore the resources are being used for the recording. I don't even know how to stop the recording, since the Delete Recordings won't let me delete something that is recording. How do I make it stop automatically recording the show on the screen? Thanks.

The way livetv works in 0.20 is the same as the way livetv works in 0.19... everything is recorded.

When mythtv starts livetv mode a buffer is created, as though the show is being recorded (it actually IS being recorded). If you quit out of livetv or change channels, the recording is stopped and if the recording is short it will be expired almost immediately. If it's longer than a certain length (I can't remember how long it has to be) the recording will be kept but will autoexpire if you don't select it in 'watch recordings' and set to keep it.

So it seems to me like you have a bigger problem than just not being able to change channels. Show us your logs!

Default Re: Problem Changing Channels

When I click, "Watvh TV" I get the error message window:
" MythTV is already using all available inputs for the channel you selected. If you want to watch an in-progress recording, select from the playback menu. If you want to watch live TV cancel one of the in-progress recording from the delete menu"

I have no in-progress recordings, and no recordings to delete

I did a quick search on NVP prebuffering pause, and this is what I came up with:

http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=67092
http://readlist.com/lists/mythtv.org...s/2/13972.html

seems like people are having issues with XvMC. Are you using XvMC?
