no ppuedo arrancar el backend

tengo una distro suse 10 y no me funcionaba nada del mythtv le puso manualmenta la base de datos y ahora me arrnca el frontend pero me dice que no se puede establecer la conexion con el servidor backend y me pregunta si esta funcionando y si la ip es correcta
creo que el problema esta en que no me deja ejecutar mythtv-setup si intento entrar como usuario mythtv me dice que el usuario no esta disponible

agradeceria un poco de ayuda mientras siguo buscando con google
