Using a modified Gentoo Boot Disk for Instalation and Base Distro
It cost $80.00 direct download ONLY
Many of the SageTv Features do not work Outside North America
In Comparison of the two by Feature Sage doesn't hold up to Mythtv IMHO.
No Emulator support at all, No DVD ripping, etc.
Still intresting to take a look at.
Only Positive thing is will work well with windows clients. (Would be nice If I used Windows much)
While winmyth is still in Beta Stages.

Great.
Why would I want to pay $80 for a PVR that won't work outside the USA?
Anyway - as for mythtv having 'competition' - there's none IMHO :-) |

| My roomie used sage a few years ago, it was a nice easy to use / install pvr software. My one complaint is it didn't do DTS where as the other software we used to play dvds worked fine. |
